In this episode BigDippa asks about the “Push/Hand in the Back Rule” that is currently sucking the life out of Australian Rules Football. The Swan Supporter offers his own unique insight into the most disruptive rule introduced to the game since Wayne Carey’s “Stab in the Back” rule of 2002.
Kevin and I have been chewing the cud over these rules for a couple of weeks now, and we’d love to know your opinion on the matter. You can add a comment to this post, write to me at Ask [at] swansupporter.com, or Ask me a Question with the online form
In this episode RusselZ (Brisbane Lions Supporter) asks: Tell me a joke. I don’t really do jokes but i have a crack anyway. Unfortunately my lawyers placed a limit on my joke playlist but there’s still a couple of cracking Ben Cousins cracks (or are they crap cousins cracks?). Probably the latter.
Special Note: For some reason there are some problems with the iTunes version of the podcast which the computer pixies are currently working on. Go you swannies!
Welcome to my very first Ask a Swan Supporter video podcast (or vidcast, or vodcast or whatever it’s called these days). It is the first of many podcasts where I examine the wonderful world of AFL (and sometimes the world at large) from the unique and enlightened perspective of being a Sydney Swans Supporter.
To continue these podcasts I need get a little something from you, the audience. I need question! Feed me your thoughts, your questions about the game, your ideas on umpiring, the sad sorry state of channel 7’s commentary team or anything at all. Maybe you just want to have a rant about “The Bloods” or ask if it’s true that Chris Judd is “apparently” rumoured (or is that allegedly) be interested in a move to Sydney? So Ask a Swans Supporter and I’ll give your query a half decent torpedo kick from outside fifty.
Ever wondered what lies below the skin of an avid Swan Supporter? Have you then gone on to question what would happen if you rubbed at the surface (of said supporter) only to reveal that there was some kind of whacky prize that only americans could enter? Well my friends, you can close that chapter in your lifelong quest for the meaning of life, because you can now Scratch a Swan Supporter. Check this little baby out:
How many times does this great man have to come back to re-shame himself? The Toyota Ads are always a lot of fun but for some reason the Plugger version just doesn’t grab me like the others before it. Maybe it will grow on me. God bless you Plugger – it is good seeing you back on the tele – we’ve missed you since the Cambells Chunky commercials.
